Being a Hindu, Ram Navami holds a special place in my heart, we celebrate the festival as the birthday of  god Ram. It is a occasion that imbues every part of society with happiness. A political war has been waged using the ideas of ambedkar and sabotage the discourse that was meant to benefit all the citizens alike. After world War 2 , Syria was the territory denoted as the land of diversity. Several different community could live together with each other regardless of the differences. British, french and america all agreed to leave Syria without any interference. Hafez al-Assad became the president of Syria in 1971, and he swore to modernize the country. He went on to modernize the country at a level never seen before in Syria. However this behemoth modernization came at the cost of several brutal repressions in the country. A paroxysmal attack has been made on a girl who was just 8 years old. She had been drugged, raped and murdered in Kathua. Several other victims cant even take there voices out because as a society we had conditioned them into silence. It took 4 months for the national media to show the news and it did only when it had a Hindu-Muslim angle attached to it.
